Welcome to Northern Beaches Dogs Warriewood! 

 

Located in Warriewood on Sydney’s Northern Beaches we have created a beautiful outdoor haven where your dogs can see the sky, feel the ground beneath them and smell all those wonderful scents floating by! It was so important to us to find a space away from home where your dogs can enjoy being outside, in a safe environment while enjoying the company of other dogs as opposed to spending their day within an indoor facility (we have found this is much easier on the joints which helps prevent expensive trips to the vet and surgery down the track from playing on hard surfaces. There is also zero confusion with toilet training for your puppy). Even though we are an outdoor daycare we have catered for all the seasons and do provide protected undercover areas for wet weather. 

 

Throughout the course of the day we will ensure your dog receives lots of love, attention and adequate play packed with fun activities to guarantee they return home happy and content. Regular updates of your dog’s day with us will be sent to each owner via text message in the form of photos and videos. Pick up & drop off is available to your home. This service is an additional cost unless you choose to do your own drop off and pick ups. *Please see our pricing list for casual rates and passes. 

 

We also have our very own onsite grooming space, which features a lovely Hydro Bath and specialized blow dryers to give that all important silky smooth finish. 

 

Over the past five years, we have successfully & lovingly run our regular weekly dog walking as well as offering dog minding within our own home. During this time we have come to learn certain anti-social characteristics and behavior, which we cannot tolerate at the day care to ensure paramount safety of all dogs and workers. This can be overly rough play, an aggressive bark or even a nip while chasing for a ball. Our secret to minimizing incidents has always been prevention. The key prevention methods we follow is an initial meet and greet where behavioural history and social experiences are discussed. Then if we feel your dog is suitable we will make a booking for a half day trial. Any anti social behaviours like nipping, growling, snapping, mounting, pinning, biting, mouthing with pressure, rough play that may escalate, nose punching, chest bumping, hunting or jockeying with interruption to another dog’s play, dominance and simply harassing other dogs will result in your dog not being approved for day care. Depending on the behaviour the dog may be isolated and the owner asked to collect.
